Legal Literacy for Women
In this 30-hour course you will receive information on the court system and the law as it particularly relates to personal safety, relationships, separation, divorce, housing and children. You will learn to recognise when a problem needs legal help, gain an understanding of your rights, learn where to go for help, as well as developing the confidence and know-how to approach a legal service directly. Additional support provided for those with English as an additional language.

Writers Workshop
Adult literacy students will learn research and interview skills and extend their literacy skills by writing and publishing their work in a newsletter for the community.
English Language Skills
This course will focus on developing the English language skills of students from non-English speaking backgrounds. It will focus on reading, writing, speaking and listening skills and help students improve their general English for everyday situations. Students will gain the confidence to progress into further study, work and/or community involvement.
Literacy and Numeracy (with additional support)
This course will focus on increasing reading, writing, speaking, listening and numeracy skills for students with a mild intellectual disability. Learners will also focus on strategies to gain relevant life skills in order to participate in their community, including possible volunteer work/employment opportunities or further study options.
3081 Sewing Group
A friendly group where participants meet weekly to share their skills around sewing, knitting and crafts. This groups provides an informal, warm place to make friends, have a chat, practise your skills and learn from each other. Sewing machines are provided or you are welcome to bring your own.
K-Krafts and Arts
Learn new craft skills or bring along your own project and chat with like minded people in a relaxed environment, with skilled helpers on hand.
Barbering Level 1 and 2
This five day course will give you a taste of what it would be like to be an apprentice barber. It will be run in a barber shop and taught by a professional barber. You will learn about cutting, shaving, products, salon hygiene, operating the till, customer service and much more.
Ready for Factory Work - Skills for Work and Study
Do you want to work in a factory? This is your chance to improve your literacy, numeracy and computer skills and increase your confidence for further study and a chance of finding work. Topics and exercises are drawn from factory and warehouse settings and are relevant for people who are either looking for work or are employed and would like some additional support.

Digital Essentials Level 1: This course in an introduction to using different software and apps, a smartphone, the internet, email, social media and how to stay safe online.

This short course will provide an introduction to the hospitality industry. Through practical hands-on activities, learners will develop the skills and knowledge to undertake an entry level position. The course will cover food handling, hygiene, customer service, communication skills, and espresso coffee making.
Communicating with Auslan
Learn the basics of Auslan with a professional teacher. Build better relationships with friends, members of your workplace or community group. Add to your resume and improve communication with students, patients and clients who are hearing impaired.
Soul Sisters ‘The Beginning’

This 10-week program is run by a qualified counsellor and life coach and covers topics like financial management, training and employment and health and wellbeing. Make new friends whilst you create a brighter version of you.
Mechanics for Women
A practical course that will cover things such as; car components and systems, safety and maintenance checks, changing tyres and light bulbs and buying a car. This course is facilitated by a female mechanic and designed to increase the confidence of women to do some basic maintenance themselves or to be able to talk to a mechanic.
